Wisma Atria has long been a staple of Orchard Road, but its latest evolution, “The Stylish Metamorphosis,” marks a definitive shift in Singapore’s retail landscape. After a year of construction, the mall has unveiled a striking “jewellery box” facade. The crystalline structure, inspired by the raw beauty of precious stones, serves as a literal and metaphorical beacon for the mall’s elevated positioning.

This relaunch isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s a curated expansion. The new lineup includes heavyweights like Tory Burch, a TAG Heuer luxury boutique, and Singapore’s first Paris Baguette. These join recent arrivals such as Coach’s largest Southeast Asian flagship and the homegrown multi-label powerhouse Workshop Element (W.E.), solidifying the mall’s status as a hub for the discerning shopper.
To celebrate, the mall hosted “Out of the Blue,” a two-day fashion extravaganza produced by Daniel Boey and co-directed by Bryan Gamboa. Against a backdrop of piercing blue spotlights, hosts George Young and Stephanie Carrington led the proceedings. While the opening night focused on the glamour of Timewise by Cortina Watch and Coach, the second evening took on a high-energy pulse with a performance by local band 53A that set the tone for the runway.

The showcase featured a trio of brands—Tommy Bahama, Collect Point, and Mango—each defining a different facet of the modern wardrobe.
TOMMY BAHAMA
The Seattle-based label brought an effortless island mood to the catwalk. Think breezy sundresses, floral prints, and relaxed separates for men. It was a masterclass in resort wear, topped off with oversized sunhats perfect for a weekend retreat.

COLLECT POINT
Representing the Japanese contingent (including Lowrys Farm and Hare), the aesthetic shifted toward preppy, pastel-heavy looks. The collection offered a soft, weekend-ready palette of waisted skirts and casual shirts that felt inherently wearable.

The brand also featured some waisted skirt looks and casual shirts that would do justice to the men’s and women’s wardrobe, and are perfect for the weekend chillout mood.
MANGO
The finale took a sharp, nocturnal turn. With smoky eyes and sleek hair, the Mango girl is all about “biker chic” edge. The collection leaned heavily into structured leather, sequins, and leopard print in a classic black, red, and white palette. These are the kind of high-octane, “devil-may-care” looks I’d personally reach for.

Wisma Atria has successfully realigned itself both architecturally and sartorially. With this fresh identity, it’s clear the mall is set to dominate the Orchard Road circuit once again.
